Alliant Energy Completes Six Wisconsin Projects

Alliant Energy has successfully finished six new solar initiatives in Wisconsin, incorporating an additional 514 MW of energy into its production capacity. “This achievement is a significant landmark and a crucial step in our progress towards a more sustainable energy future,” comments David de Leon, the president of Alliant Energy’s Wisconsin division. Incorporating this solar energy into our network is one of the strategies we’re employing to diversify our energy production portfolio. This enhances the availability of clean, dependable, and affordable energy for our clients. The six projects that have recently been finished include:. The Albany, Cassville, Onion River, Paddock, Springfield, and Wautoma Solar Projects are each situated in Green, Grant, Sheboygan, Rock, Dodge, and Waushara County respectively. Their respective MW capacities are 50, 50, 150, 65, 100, and 99. These completed projects are a few of the dozen large-scale solar initiatives that Alliant Energy has forwarded in Wisconsin, as per their Clean Energy Blueprint.
