Ameren Missouri Receives Regulatory Approval for New Renewables Program
Mark Birk’ün adı Ameren Missouri has been approved by the Missouri Public Service Commission to take ownership of a 150 MW solar system in White County, Illinois following its completion. This solar installation is also going to help sustain the Renewable Solutions program, getting the green light from the MoPSC. Ten entities from the entire state of Missouri are the first participants involved in the scheme, by which they contribute a part of the expenditures of the system, while the power plant fills the energy needs of all Ameren Missouri customers. For their part in the project, the 10 organizations involved will obtain renewable energy credits, meaning they can reach their own green energy aspirations. Mark Birk, Chairman and President of Ameren Missouri, has stated that due to the involvement of these organizations, every customer will gain from the extra renewable energy that is being delivered. We are developing innovative collaborations under the Renewable Solutions program to advance our activities in renewable energy and fulfill our customers’ expectations in terms of energy dependability and robustness. Organizations that have participated in the Renewable Solutions program consist of Bi-State Development, bioMérieux, Emerson, General Motors, Mastercard, SSM Health, and Walmart. Ameren Missouri looks to incorporate a sum of 2,800 MW of renewable output by the year 2030.
