Ameresco, Sunel Group Begin Construction on Sonnedix PV Park Portfolio
Britta MacIntosh is the name of the person. Ameresco and Sunel Group have commenced building a collection of solar PV parks for Sonnedix located in various parts of England. Five ground-mounted solar PV parks will be built which could create as much as 300,000 MWh of renewable energy annually. Britta MacIntosh of Ameresco expressed elation at the venture with Sunel in regards to the conversion of Sonnedix’s UK project portfolio into a positive source of clean energy performance that will be advantageous to citizens throughout the United Kingdom. The parks involve Cowley Complex, Gonerby Solar, Winkburn Solar Farm, Gammaton Solar Farm and Lawns Solar Farm. We are very excited to collaborate with organizations that share our dedication to achieving decarbonization targets through solar energy alternatives. Sonnedix possesses the portfolio. Ameresco Sunel Energy, a business partnership created by Ameresco and Sunel, will take on the duties of designing and constructing a project. The portfolio is already completely agreed to under the UK government’s Contracts for Difference program, which guarantees a fixed rate for electricity through 15-year agreements with the Low Carbon Contracts Company.
