Anesco Breaks Ground on Solar Projects with Gresham House

Un parco solare realizzato da Anesco. Anesco, a British solar and storage business, have started development on four solar farms with a combined capacity of 110 MW in conjunction with Gresham House. The first of these sites to begin construction are Low Farm (50 MW) in Skegness, Beavor Grange (20 MW) in Devon, and two 20 MW solar farms in Derbyshire and Gloucestershire. The projects are due to be completed by the end of 2023 and will have a lifetime of 40 years, after which they will be restored to their natural state. Additionally, each site will feature an advanced biodiversity plan and ecological improvements intended to help protect some of the UK’s most endangered birds and wild animals, as well as native flora. This will encompass establishing wildflower meadows, putting in extra hedgerows and trees, and setting up bird and bat houses. At Low Farm, the installation of improvements is anticipated to lead to a biodiversity increase of over 130%. Anesco is taking charge of the engineering, procurement and development of the four solar farms. The partnership between Anesco and Gresham House has taken a significant move forward as the construction of the first four projects has officially begun. Anesco’s operations and maintenance team will keep an eye on the sites and collaborate with the optimization team to make sure the plants work at their highest level of performance. Wayne Cranstone, Gresham House’s investment director, said he is pleased to see this advancement. The four solar farms have been constructed with both environmental consciousness and quality in mind, with an emphasis on protecting biodiversity and ensuring that the performance and effectiveness of the farms is optimised.
