Arevon finishes 300-MW solar project on Moapa River Indian Reservation

Arevon Energy declared the Eagle Shadow Mountain Solar Plant is finished. The Eagle Shadow Mountain Solar Plant, located on the Moapa River Indian Reservation in Clark County, Nevada, is anticipated to produce approximately 900,000 MWh of renewable electricity annually. To aid with its 44,000-mile land territory and 2.4 million customers, NV Energy signed a long-term energy buying deal for the output of the plant. This landmark renewable energy endeavor stands as an accomplishment in Arevon’s portfolio. In spite of the pressing dilemmas generated by the worldwide supply chain crisis, economic instability, and the coronavirus pandemic, Arevon demonstrated resilience and succeeded in providing secure, sustainable energy to Nevada residents. Justin Johnson, Arevon’s chief operating officer, remarked, “In spite of the global supply chain difficulties, Arevon’s gifted team maintained their determination to bring a fantastic new form of energy to Nevada.” We are thrilled to have finished the Eagle Shadow Mountain Solar Farm, and we would like to thank the Moapa Band of Paiutes for their assistance in bringing this project to fruition. Arevon took full advantage of the highly skilled personnel provided by the Moapa Band of Paiutes for designing and running the solar power station. The Eagle Shadow Mountain Solar Plant permanently employs 10 people, and the building process resulted in up to 655 new job openings. Arevon concentrated on using only local labor for the construction. Furthermore, the company collected Thanksgiving meals and arranged a toy drive during the Holiday Season to benefit the families of the Moapa River Indian Reservation. This news appeared in a release from Arevon.
