Aspen Power Buys Portfolio of Maine Community Solar Assets

Aspen Power has recently acquired fifteen ground-mounted community solar projects ranging from 1.4 MW to 7 MW and totaling 37 MW. The projects are dotted across the state from its southern region to Bangor. With the largest project in Berwick at 2.36 MW operational, the energy generated from all projects will be to meet the renewable energy demand of the state of Maine with the aim of achieving its 80% renewable energy target by 2030. Dan Gulick, Senior Vice President of Aspen Power commented on their commitment to delivering clean and sustainable energy solutions to their communities. We consider the purchase of the solar projects to be an essential move towards our ultimate aspiration, and we eagerly anticipate turning them on to aid the people who inhabit their areas. Aspen Power has recently taken over Safari Energy, thus making an extensive progress in the commercial and business solar industry.
