AVANGRID to Use Array Technologies DuraTrack for 321 MW Installation
Kevin Hostettler. AVANGRID, Inc. is a company. AVANGRID and the Iberdrola Group have decided to purchase DuraTrack solar trackers from Array Technologies to build the 321 MW True North solar farm in Falls County, Texas, which will be one of their biggest solar plants in development across America. Array Technologies has been a reliable supplier to AVANGRID and the Iberdrola Group. This purchase only enhances their partnership, which is likely to progress in the near future. This contract was an essential part of the final investment selection for the True North scheme, which is believed to be accomplished by late 2024. “Our long-lasting, low-maintenance backings will contribute to offering clean renewable energy to the Texas energy grid, making sure the local population has steady energy for the years ahead,” comments Kevin Hostettler, CEO of Array Technologies. By acquiring solar trackers from Array Technologies and by establishing schemes such as the True North solar farm, AVANGRID has extended the implementation of clean energy in Texas, where it presently produces more than 1250MW by way of six wind farms and even has a 1300MW pipeline of initiatives.
