Birch Creek Energy Acquires Foundation Solar Partners

Dr. Dan Siegel Birch Creek Energy LLC, based in St. Louis, has taken control of Foundation Solar Partners from Washington D.C., a specialist in constructing greenfield solar projects chiefly in the MISO and PJM markets. Since 2019, Birch Creek and Foundation Solar have built up a total of 1.7 gigawatts of solar and storage facilities and presently have a combined development pipeline of 13.5 gigawatts in diverse stages of progress. Dan Siegel, the Chief Executive Officer of Birch Creek, proclaimed his enthusiasm at presenting Foundation Solar to the Birch Creek family. This acquisition not only provides an immediate advantage by substantially growing our holdings in prime areas like PJM and MISO, but it also introduces a proficient greenfield engine which will heighten our speed and size. Lazard Frères and Co. LLC assumed the role of exclusive economic consultant for Hull Street Energy’s seller. Foley and Lardner LLP offered legal services to Hull Street Energy, while Nelson Mullins Riley and Scarborough LLP handled the same for Birch Creek.
