ClearPath Energy Partners with Brookfield to Secure Financing

David Khasidy is the name. ClearPath Energy, a platform for transitioning to renewable energy sources as well as a developer, owner, and operator of them, has completed a loan from an infrastructure fund managed by Brookfield Asset Management. This capital will enable ClearPath to broaden its current 2 GW pipeline and hasten the advancement of its late-stage development projects into construction and operations. The income from this will be used to create and run ClearPath’s North American renewable energy projects. Allen & Overy LLP provided legal advice to ClearPath, and Shearman Sterling LLP gave legal advice to Brookfield. This financing will make it possible to move our nearly completed development plans into construction and eventually into action. David Khasidy, co-founder and executive chairman of ClearPath, states that they are anticipating augmenting their multi-sector development tools and enlarging their geographic scope.
