Dallas County Signs 3-Year Solar Energy Contract with Public Power Pool

Dallas County has recently teamed up with Public Power Pool to get a renewable energy source from a solar farm in Fort Bend County. This energy will be used to power the county’s 55 buildings. Public Power Pool is a non-profit involved in energy contract negotiations between governments and districts. David Quin of Public Power Pool informed reporter Josephine Peterson that the county is the first of 95 to switch to complete renewable energy. For more information on the story, click here.
