Fluke is now a NABCEP-approved training provider
Fluke, a corporation that specializes in solar measurement technology, has been given the certification of a NABCEP training provider. Fluke, an accredited NABCEP Registered Training Provider, has recently come out with a training course that meets NABCEP standards. This course, titled Tools and Techniques for Commissioning and Maintaining PV Systems, focuses on the safety, efficiency, and accuracy needed in the expanding solar industry. This course provides specialized training for those who are already in the professional field and want to gain more skills in the tests and measurement tools that are essential for photovoltaic array installation, commissioning, and maintenance. Upon completion of the course, the individual can receive accreditation from the NABCEP which is beneficial for their career. In recent years, the number of solar related jobs in the US has increased drastically – jumping from 105,000 to 255,000 in 2021. Will White, a NABCEP certified educator employed by Fluke, noted that to take the PV Installation Professional (PVIP) Board Certification exam, some of these hours can be satisfied. However, the necessity of teaching and providing the new workers with the correct information and equipment could quickly turn into an obstacle that impedes the growth of the industry. We are delighted to have achieved the distinguished distinction from NABCEP and are excited to be a part of training the solar personnel that will be instrumental in the transition to clean energy. Fluke is providing its new training course, which has been approved by NABCEP, available on the internet. In this class, we will examine each phase of constructing and sustaining a solar array and the ideal assessment equipment used along the way, such as digital multimeters, clamp meters, thermal imaging cameras, insulation resistance testers, I-V curve tracers, irradiance meters, power quality meters, and solar asset management software.
