i.on Renewables Sells Landfill Solar Project to Coast Energy

Kip Perry’s name. Coast Energy, a company responsible for constructing, owning, and maintaining renewable energy sources for commercial and industrial properties, has just announced it has taken over a project that consists of 8.6 Megawatts located in Brookhaven, which is situated on Long Island in New York. The site takes up 35 acres of land that is unable to be used for multiple purposes, and approximately 16,000 solar panels will be implemented with a standard-angled, stabilized method. This venture will turn a vacant space of land into a benefit for the community that offers affordable electricity to those living on Long Island and provides local jobs. The solar energy installation will put energy into the Public Service Enterprise Group – Long Island (PSEG-LI) network. Coast Energy obtained the project from i. Kip Perry, Chief Development Officer at Coast Energy, remarked that the coordinated work between his organization and Renewables, a White Plains, NY-based boutique solar developer, is a representation of their shared mission to bring distributed solar energy generation to life.
