MPSC Approves Plan for Lake Trout Solar Plant

The Lake Trout solar plant, which will be owned and managed by I&M, will be located near Montpelier, Indiana. , which will be linked to the electricity network that serves both Michigan and Indiana. The company anticipates that the project will start producing energy by 2026. I&M has entered into a contract with EDF Renewables for the construction of Lake Trout. The firms have been collaborating with officials from Blackford County to make provisions for the plant. I&M is a subsidiary of American Electric Power.
