National Grid Renewables Breaks Ground on Kentucky Unbridled Project
Ik weet het niet zeker. National Grid Renewables has begun building its Unbridled solar project, situated in Henderson and Webster counties, Ky. The Unbridled project, with a capacity of 160 MW, is predicted to be the biggest source of solar power in the state once it commences operations next year, according to the company. “Being able to construct the biggest solar renewable energy project in Kentucky gives us great pride and excitement,” states Blake Nixon, the president of National Grid Renewables. Unbridled is our inaugural venture in this state and clearly illustrates our investment in the shift to clean energy and all the advantages it brings to the economies of rural parts of the US such as additional tax money and various jobs. The Unbridled solar endeavour is a beneficial addition to Big Rivers Electric’s choice of power sources to supply protected, dependable, and eco-friendly energy to their member-owners,” stated Bob Berry, chief executive officer and president of Big Rivers Electric. The project was earlier declared to have a PPA with Big Rivers Electric and is collaborating with Wanzek to finish the build. This major undertaking gives priority to our area by investing in solar initiatives that provide financial advantages to the local community and create electricity for those who rely on our services. Unbridled Solar has vowed to give $800,000 to a specialized philanthropic fund during its initial two decades of business.
