Parks Associates: Only 17 Percent of Households are Very Familiar With Solar
Chris White is the name. According to Parks Associates’ latest report, the majority of U.S. internet households are discontent with their electricity bills, yet have very little knowledge of solar power. Chris White, the research director of Parks Associates, stated that if consumers become more informed about solar solutions, then adoption has potential to soar. In spite of this, over the last couple of years, adoption of solar and other home energy management solutions has grown at a gradual rate. Research from Parks Associates has revealed that 7% of internet households in the United States have installed solar panels. This increase can be attributed to heightened climate consciousness, volatile energy costs, fiscal rewards, and advances in technology. The growing interest in electric vehicles and the increased use of connected devices are leading to increased awareness of solar and storage solutions. Click on the link below to view the report.
