Partners Providing Inspection, Certification Services for the Solar Industry
Doctor Christos Monokroussos TÜV Rheinland and CFV Solar Test Laboratory are teaming up to offer assessment, verification, and certification services for photovoltaic components and solar energy farms in the North American sector. The alliance works towards providing services for widely acknowledged credentials such as IEC 61215, IEC 61730, IEC 61853 and IEC 63209, as well as specialized testing that can satisfy supply chain and loanability requirements. Six months after the United States Federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration gave their approval for TÜV Rheinland to include solar related standards as a NRTL (Nationally Recognized Test Laboratory) it has now collaborated with CFV Solar Test Laboratory offering a wide range of performance, safety, and reliability testing services for PV modules, PV components, and power plants in the North American market. Dr. Christos Monokroussos, global segment coordinator for solar at TÜV Rheinland said, “This partnership with CFV Solar Test Laboratory will give us the capability to provide customized services to our clients located in North America, but also to cover any customer needs across the globe.” We have full assurance that this decision will fortify our businesses in the years to come.
