Philadelphia Solar panels to be used on solar + green hydrogen project in Texas

By the 22nd of February in 2023. A Clean Energy Holdings project in the town of Sylvester, Texas is set to construct a 380 megawatt solar array that utilizes Philadelphia Solar Panels to generate power for a 33,000-kilogram-per-day liquified green hydrogen plant. The panels will be supplied from Philadelphia Solar’s newly announced American manufacturing plant that is yet to be revealed. The acreage has potential to increase the solar capacity up to 1 gigawatt. The Clear Fork project will be using Philadelphia Solar’s 540-W Phenex bifacial solar modules for the project. According to Cornelius Fitzgerald, co-founder and President of Clean Energy Holdings, this project is helping to generate green hydrogen development as well as create jobs, manufacture products in the United States, and provide reliable long-term energy security. Mohammad Shehadeh, the Chief Operating Officer for Philadelphia Solar USA, declared that the company is thrilled to provide their high efficiency American-made panels to Clean Energy Holdings for the milestone project that highlights the USA’s re-emergence as a leader in clean energy and as a manufacturing powerhouse.
