Risen Hyper-ion HJT Solar Module Reaches Nearly 24 Percent Efficiency

Risen Energy has announced that their HJT series solar module, Hyper-ion, has broken their previous record in terms of maximum power and module efficiency. These numbers, of 741.456 W and 23.89%, were verified by TÜV SÜD and surpass the 23.65% module efficiency that the company achieved in December 2021. This improvement has been attributed to the technological advances within the product, such as ultra-thin-wafer, zero-busbar technology, Hyper-link interconnection, and encapsulation material. Risen Energy’s newest module, Hyper-ion, features a remarkable temperature coefficient and bifaciality of up to 85% ±10%, which enables the product to sustain a power output higher than 90% even after 30 years of utilization. The module’s performance is supported by the company’s 100μm ultra-thin cell technology and low-temperature process, which contribute to low Carbon Footprint (CFP) and low Levelised Cost of Energy (LCOE). According to Even Liu, Senior R&D Director, Hyper-ion has both improved and lowered the best of qualities, such as power and energy production, effectiveness and dependability, degradation and temperature coefficient, CFP, and LCOE.
