Scanifly Releases Integrated Solar Design Software Platform

Scanifly has combined its platform software with multiple external data sources to create its innovative Scanifly Prelim layout. The application furnishes contractors with a remote design system that has the advantages of Scanifly3D plus internal bidding and funding tools as well as grouping design systems. Scanifly has augmented its data coverage with the inclusion of Nearmap data, satellite imagery, and the public LiDAR records from the US Geological Survey. Jason Steinberg, Scanifly’s CEO, says this has established the company as a full-service tool for the duration of a private or commercial solar undertaking. All Scanifly staff are knowledgeable in solar surveying, designing, and installation, having previously been employed by solar contractors or related construction operations.
