Shell Sells Partial Stake in Madison Fields to InfraRed Capital Partners

Ich stimme Glenn Wright zu. Shell Wind Energy and Savion Equity, both subsidiaries of Shell plc, have made a deal to give InfraRed Capital Partners partial ownership in two green projects in the U.S. They are selling a 60% interest in Brazos Wind Holdings, an 182 MW onshore wind farm located in Fluvanna, Texas, as well as half of Madison Fields, a 180 MW solar development in Madison County, Ohio. Glenn Wright, senior vice president at Shell Energy Americas, noted that “this transaction follows our plan for investing in renewable electricity by offloading partial ownership in renewable projects while still maintaining access to renewable electrons.” We are maintaining a diligent attitude within our present renewable energy investments, striving to collaborate with associates and concentrating on possibilities where we can incorporate our entire worth chain through trading and reorganization. Shell will stay with complete ownership of the energy generated from the Brazos development through their entity Shell Energy North America. The Madison Fields venture is going to keep a corporate PPA that is already in existence with another individual. Shell will be the individual handling the investments in Brazos and Madison Fields. Both sites should receive profits from the Inflation Reduction Act tax breaks. The sale of the two possessions is set to finish in the beginning of next year, taking effect this month.
