Silicon Ranch, Green Power EMC Complete 106 MW Clay Solar Project
Silicon Ranch and Green Power EMC are rejoicing the conclusion of the 106 MW AC Clay Solar Project at White Oak Pastures in Bluffton, Georgia. The energy developed by the project is shared by 30 EMCs from around the state. Silicon Ranch hired IEA as their EPC contractor and they employed over 400 staff members, giving preference to the local workforce and those with a military background. Upon the announcement of the Clay County project in 2018, Will Harris of White Oak Pastures asked Silicon Ranch to come and visit Bluffton. Harris presented Silicon Ranch leaders with the ways of controlled herding and regrowth agricultural methods which had been implemented on White Oak Pastures for more than 20 years. Green Power EMC and Silicon Ranch have formed an alliance that put forth an innovative idea for the solar business world. The theory is called Regenerative Energy, which has a complete system for solar engineering, construction, and land monitoring. This model is used regularly in the thousands of acres of land these two companies own nationwide. Additionally, the Clay Solar Project is the ninth renewable energy resource to become functional with Green Power EMC and Silicon Ranch. The joint holdings of the partners produce more than 550 megawatts of alternating current power. A year ago, they proclaimed an extra association to create three extra tasks, aggregating an extra 252 MW AC, being operational by the finish of 2024. Photo source.
