Silicon Ranch starts construction on two solar projects in TVA
Silicon Ranch initiated construction on two solar endeavors in Clarksville, Tennessee, for the local power company CDE Lightband under the watch of the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA). The entirety of the two tasks will amount to 6.75 megawatts of alternating current. The 2-megawatt Solar Band Red Array and 4.75-megawatt Solar Band Orange Array should both be completed by the end of the year. For 2023, CDE Lightband has built a reputation on being dependable and providing steady access to services. Our clients anticipate no less. Brian Taylor, General Manager of CDE Lightband, points out that by establishing solar farms, their services will be more secure without rising costs, which in turn will make Clarksville more appealing to corporate entities. As part of this venture, TVA together with CDE Lightband and the town have already started to build larger-scale infrastructure projects in an effort to satisfy the escalating inhabitants’ needs. CDE Lightband is showing itself to be a leader when it comes to creating economic growth in the Clarksville area. Brian Taylor and his team are doing great things for the growing population by upgrading their infrastructure with fiber cables and giving access to clean energy sources. Matt Kisber, the co-founder and chairman of Silicon Ranch, praised this effort and the people behind it. We are elated to be collaborating with CDE Lightband in order to meet the standards that they and their customers have established for having a dependable and affordable source of solar energy. Clarksville is of particular note due to the presence of the Fort Campbell military base.
