Sol Systems Picks Up Large Solar Development Portfolio in Illinois

Mak Nagle. Sol Systems has taken over a 157 MW direct current solar energy project close to the city of Peoria, Illinois. Sol Systems has acquired a solar portfolio of over 700 MW from Trajectory Energy Partners located in Illinois. Through its Infrastructure + Impact business, the company intends to construct, possess and operate the projects in order to produce sufficient clean electricity to provide power for more than 21,000 homes a year. Mak Nagle, Sol Systems’ chief development officer, stated that the acquisition is compatible with their objective to expand their presence in the Midwest.
