SolarKal Adds 12 MW into NJ Community Solar Program

SolarKal has successfully coordinated 13 commercial solar projects into the New Jersey Community Solar program, providing an additional 12 MW of green energy for local residents who are unable to gain access to solar savings. Subscribers to the community solar will be assured a minimum utility bill discount rate of at least 15%, which is extended for the length of their subscription. The first chance for developers to partake in the state’s community solar program began in November, resulting in a 225 MW capacity block made available for development within this year. SolarKal’s CEO, Yaniv Kalish, expresses satisfaction for the awaited acceptance of their clients into the CSEP program, and expressed the company’s readiness to assist others interested in the program.
