SolarReviews and Solar Energy International (SEI) have renewed their scholarship partnership for 2023. In 2022, SolarReviews successfully funded the SolarReviews Scholarship, which provided solar training for U.S.-based Spanish speakers. The companies will expand this scholarship in 2023 to support native Spanish speakers through SEI’s Hispanic and Latin American program with scholarships and program management support, along with the addition of a new fund focused on women interested in entering the solar field.
Last year, with the help of SolarReviews, SEI provided solar training to 22 Spanish-speaking candidates. The goal for 2023 is to double the number of scholarship recipients. Additionally, 44 women from eight different countries were trained through SEI’s Women in Solar Power Program Scholarship Funds. SEI’s ambitious goal is to double the number of trained women with full scholarships throughout 2023.
