Solis Introduces New Solar PV Inverters

Solis Technologies has just launched their 25K-25G-PRO series designed to provide stronger power for commercial and industrial uses, in addition to the 27kW-EHV three-phase inverter intended for large utility-scale systems. Furthermore, their 100K-5G-PRO inverter has been modified to be compatible with supercharged 182mm and 210mm PV modules, which ultimately leads to higher capacity and efficiency, while still taking up minimal space. This re-engineering of the PRO series has made it easier to access components that were hard to get, according to the company. The 5G PRO has a higher output power of over 600W and a bigger present capacity up to 53A for each string with the ability to access two groups of strings. Additionally, the 255kW-EHV is capable of energy storage and operates at a high voltage of up to 1500V and 255 kW with a max power tracking of 12. According to Travis Snyder, product manager at Solis Europe, these features make the 5G PRO a highly reliable choice. This 255kW-EHV inverter has a phenomenal capability of holding up to 24 strings of inputs. Moreover, it is capable of providing 500W+ power output as well as double sided solar panels. With a grand efficiency rate of up to 99%, this inverter has been designed to maximize the production of photovoltaic plants in the modern era of large solar systems. Additionally, the levelized cost of energy has been drastically reduced. Furthermore, the durability of this inverter is rather impressive, with an IP66 classification and C5 protection rating. The company states that its original and productive heat-dispersal system, complemented by smart temperature management protection, can produce 5% to 7% more outputs in harsh climatic conditions when compared to the competition.
