Startup Awarded Funding to Support PV Tech for Commercial Windows

Daniel Emmetts namn “NEXT Energy Technologies Incorporated” NEXT has been talked into the California Energy Commission’s RAMP program; they have acquired $3 milion to put towards their production of a fresh-out-of-the-box photovoltaic coating for commercial windows. The purpose of the agreement is to enlarge the scale of the initial production line to manufacture organic photovoltaics on architectural window glass, which can then be put into insulated glass units. Daniel Emmett, NEXT’s CEO and co-founder said,”We are privileged to be given the RAMP grant award”. The money given is essential for small companies such as ours that are concentrating on producing on a higher scale. We are striving to assist commercial structures in reaching net-zero energy and decreasing their environmental impact. We have joined forces with progressive partners to illustrate how this technology can flourish in the foreseeable future. NEXT states that this financial aid will allow them to move forward faster in regard to creating their product and making it available for consumers.
