Yaskawa Solectria to showcase utility-scale string inverter at RE+

Yaskawa Solectria Solar announced it will display its newest made-in-America utility-scale inverter, the SOLECTRIA XGI 1500-DCG RE+ 2024, from September 9-12 in Anaheim, California.

The SOLECTRIA XGI 1500 DCG Series utility-scale inverter is designed to optimize the output of First Solar’s thin-film PV modules with an electrically grounded DC input, ensuring optimal performance and longevity. All XGI 1500 inverter solutions can enhance a project’s overall domestic content to lock in the 10% ITC bonus credit.

“We are very excited to be celebrating 20 years of American made solar solutions and I am honored to have been entrusted to build on these achievements,” said Mark Goodreau, general manager at Yaskawa Solectria Solar. “This milestone showcases our commitment in the solar industry, and we look forward to continuing to create new innovative made-in-the-USA solutions for our customers.”

The SOLECTRIA XGI 1500 Power Rack is a robust, scalable building-block for multi-MW solar power plants. The modular design provides multiple independent MPPT zones per megawatt for improved power point tracking and improves system up time with a simplified maintenance plan.

The company will also show a full lineup of string combiners designed for the XGI inverters, 1-2 MW factory-integrated Power Racks, and DC-coupled and AC-coupled storage solutions.
